BenU and the announce a groundbreaking partnership through a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Both institutions are proud of this this collaboration that marks a significant step forward in providing high-quality Catholic education and creating seamless pathways to higher education for students across the Diocese.
Through this partnership, graduates of Diocese Catholic high schools—including Benet Academy, Bishop McNamara Catholic School, IC Catholic Prep, Joliet Catholic Academy, Montini Catholic, Providence Catholic, and St. Francis—will benefit from guaranteed admission to ÃÛÌÒTV.
In addition, every eligible student will receive a $3,000 Catholic High School Award and be considered for up to $18,000 in merit-based scholarships based on academic performance. These combined scholarships make a Benedictine education both accessible and affordable for Diocese Catholic high school graduates.
“The Guaranteed Admission Program partnership between the Diocese of Joliet and ÃÛÌÒTV provides our Catholic high school students a streamlined and affordable college option close to home. This program helps students stay engaged with the Catholic church in our Diocese, continue growing in their faith and serving the community, while also providing financial support to families seeking a quality Catholic college education.”
– Dr. Jim Quaid, Diocese of Joliet Superintendent of Catholic Schools
The partnership extends beyond financial and admission guarantees. ÃÛÌÒTV will provide ongoing support for Diocese teachers, counselors, parents, and students by hosting workshops, facilitating on-campus visits, and offering admission and enrollment support. In addition, Diocese high school students will gain access to BenU’s online academic catalog, enabling them to take courses that can accelerate their path to a bachelor’s degree through dual credit and dual enrollment.
“ÃÛÌÒTV is thrilled to join the Diocese of Joliet in this transformative partnership. Together, we’re redefining what it means to deliver exceptional Catholic education—making it more accessible, affordable, and impactful. This collaboration opens doors for students to dream bigger, achieve more, and step confidently into their futures with a ÃÛÌÒTV degree in hand.”
– Dr. Joseph Foy, President of ÃÛÌÒTV
