Beyond Tuition: Securing Grants to Elevate ÃÛÌÒTV

A primary task of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) is to increase the ÃÛÌÒTV grants and sponsored programs portfolio. The OIE works collaboratively with the faculty and staff in obtaining financial support for program opportunities not ordinarily funded by the University budget that raise the profile of BenU. The OIE coordinates administration of grant awards with the Business and Finance Office.

ÃÛÌÒTV grants are received from government agencies at the state and federal level as well as from private foundations and corporations. Grant funding supports faculty and student research, student scholarships, capital improvements, special projects that enhance teaching and learning, and other campus initiatives that enrich the student experience.

ÃÛÌÒTV is fortunate to steward over $8 million in awarded grant funding. Our grant initiatives are listed below with a brief description.
